Georgina Lightning is a Canadian First Nations film director, screen-writer, and actress. Lightning was born in Edmonton, Canada, and is a Maskwacis (Plains) Cree, registered with the Samson Cree Nation of the Samson Indian Reservation near Edmonton, Alberta.
